Utah State Fair

One of my favorite ways to kick off fall is to visit the fair.  We were able to go in the afternoon when it wasn't very busy and enjoyed beautiful cool weather.  Alex had a ton of fun exploring and playing.  

Alex wanted to go on every ride by himself.  We were glad to see that he was so brave because earlier in the summer he was a little afraid of rides.  Not today!

 It was a successful day!

End of Summer Fun

We finished out a very fun summer by doing a few more fun activities with our cousins.  We went to Seven Peaks again, did a little bowling and tried out the Farm at Thanksgiving Point.  We are going to miss summer!

Alex Starts Preschool

We can hardly believe it but Alex started Preschool last week.  The first day was just a quick meet and greet with the teacher.  Alex was disappointed that Brandon and I were staying with him and that he didn't get to stay longer.  He has loved going and always has a lot to tell me when I pick him up.  We are so proud of our little buddy!

Brandon's Birthday

This year Brandon's birthday was a three day celebration.  On Friday we had a party at Sarah and Jen's.  We ate pizza, played games, and opened presents.  We even ate very messy cupcakes.

On Saturday Brandon and I spent the day celebrating.  We went to the Museum of Natural History, saw a movie, and went to Famous Daves.  It was a great day!

I took Alex to the store to pick out a present for Brandon.  He was very specific on what he wanted to get him.  Before we even got to the store he knew he wanted a red ninja turtle.  He was so good about keeping it a secret even though Brandon pestered him a lot.

We are so lucky to have Brandon in our family.  Happy Birthday!
