NY and DC

Thanks to Brandon's Mom and Dad we were able to spend two weeks in July visiting New York and Washington D.C. We started the fun off in Rochester, NY. We got to visit all the LDS sites including Joseph Smith's house and the Sacred Grove. We also got to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant which was very cool.

We also got to take a trip to Canada to see Niagara Falls.

After an 8 hour train ride we arrived in the big apple. It was much like we imagined. Big, crowded and dirty. We loved it!

On our way to see Wicked!

Not only did we get to go to New York but one of my life long dreams was realized when we got to go to a Yankees game. To top it all off, they won! If only Mariano Rivera had pitched my life would be complete. Maybe next time!

Next, it was off to Washington D.C. which included six tiring days of monuments, museums and a lot of walking.

Although it took us a few days to recover we had a great time.

Mr. and Mrs. Jennings

Brandon's sister Nikole married Jordan Jennings on Friday, June 19. They got married in the Draper temple which was beautiful. It was the only sunny day last week. Congratulations and welcome to the family Jordan!

Boo!

She loves to sleep upside down.

Brandon and I knew we wanted to get a dog once we moved into our house. We finally agreed on a breed, mostly because Brandon is allergic to bigger dogs. Boo is a West Highland Terrier (or a Westie). We have had Boo for almost a month now. She is definitely a puppy but is learning quickly.

Finally Catching Up With Technology

We're a little slow but we are finally starting our blog. After just celebrating our two year anniversary it felt like a good time to finally get it going. We have had so much fun the past two years and feel so blessed to live the life we live. Currently I am working as a first grade teacher in Davis School district. Brandon is working as an RN up at Primary Children's Hospital. We stay very busy but try to make some time to play. We recently went to disneyland and had so much fun. We also just bought a house and a dog so things have been a little crazy lately. I am excited to be done with school in three weeks and enjoy some time off.
