More July Adventures

Later in July we attended the annual Cul-de-sac of Fire at the Everitts house.  We always eat lots of delicious food and light off lots of fireworks.  As usual it was lots of fun.  Thanks Everitts!

Once again Mia loved the fireworks!

Jessica is showing us how to be a teen.

Also, this month we went to the Aquarium with the Everitts.  It was very cool and had a lot to see.

Alex and Mia are so lucky to have the best cousins.  They are so nice to play and run around with Alex.  He loves them so much!

I often catch Mia sleeping with a limb or two sticking out of her crib.

On the 24th of July we went with some of Brandon's family to hike Cecret Lake.  It was very very crowded but still very beautiful and we had a lot of fun.

Alex was super excited until he started to get car sick on the way up the mountain.

The weather was gorgeous and it was nice and cool up in the mountains.

The wild flowers were amazing.

Jaryn was bothered that his mom wouldn't let him get in and swim.

The next day we all headed to Kamas to watch the demolition derby.  First we stopped at Aunt Judy's for some delicious dinner.

Then we headed to the derby.  Mia had a lot more fun being passed around than hanging out with us.

The next day we celebrated Grandpa Clements birthday.  These girls were enjoying their popsicles.

July Adventures

July was such a fun month.  It helps that it has two holidays and Mia's birthday.  We had a great 4th of July this year and as usual I took a lot of pictures.

In the afternoon we headed to Grandma's house to play games and celebrate her birthday.

Mia watching the rain.  Good thing it stopped before it was fireworks time!

Waiting for fireworks.

Mia loved the fireworks. She held very still and stared at them the whole time.

Alex did another round of swimming lessons but this time at our neighbors house.  One of the days Brandon took him to his lessons and for some reason Alex had a complete break down and refused to swim and cried most of the time.  Luckily he did great every other time and by the end of the lessons was swimming with his whole body in the water.  We also went swimming again later in the month as a family and he loved the water slides and went on them all by himself.   I am glad his fear of the water is getting better.

Every day we would walk to his lessons.  One day we met this cat along the way.

Another day we saw this weird bird.

Also this month Mikah and Max got to come play with us for a day.  We had so much fun playing toys, eating pizza, and playing at the splash pad and park.  Later in the month Alex got to spend two nights at their house.  He had so much fun!  We wish they lived a little closer so we would get to do this more often.

There is no shortage of personality with these three!

Also while Mikah and Max were visiting Grandma and Grandpa Clements treated us all to the Minion Movie.  It was cute and the kids loved it!

Finally this month Alex graduated from the Upstart program.  This is an online preschool program that Alex has been doing five days a week for the last year.  It wasn't always his favorite thing but I have loved that it has helped him become a great reader before even starting Kindergarten.  All his hard work has definitely payed off.
