Mia Turns Four

Our sweet Mia turned four this month.  She loved being the center of attention and having all her family over to celebrate. 

She decided on a Winnie the Pooh themed birthday party.

Brandon made another great cake!

She had some pretty great reactions to her presents.  She was very excited by everything.

 On her actual birthday Alex was still in school.  We got Mia up early to open presents before he had to leave.  She was a little sleepy but still excited to open some presents. 

Her last present led her on a scavenger hunt around the house. 

At the end she found a new glider bike.  She loves it!

Later in the day we checked Alex out of school so they could attend their first swimming lesson of the summer. 

After a quick lunch at Wendy's we sent poor Alex back to school. 

After school we let Mia choose whatever she wanted to do.  She wanted to eat McDonalds and play at the park.

It was a great weekend.  We sure love our Mia bug! 

June

June 1st was our last day of preschool for this year.  We had a great time playing outside and eating Popsicles.   I really loved my first year of preschool and am excited to do it again next year! 

Mia found some hilarious ways to entertain herself during church.

Alex cuddled right up to Jaden one Sunday.

Alex and Mia wanted us to wrap them up like we used to when they were babies.  They thought it was so funny. 

Alex had an end of year French program.  They sang a few songs in French.  It was pretty cool.  

One night this month we got together with some neighbors and enjoyed their fun backyard. 

Our neighbors fostered kittens for a few weeks so we got to go over and say hi to them one night.  My kids loved them!

We loved celebrating Brandon for Father's Day.  He does so much for us.  We are so lucky to have him! 

One day this month we went bowling with cousins.  It was so much fun!  Alex loved helping all his littler cousins to bowl.

Mia and Alex also got to sleep over one night at the Hettingers house.  They loved it!

Finally, we also went to the zoo this month.  It was a hot day but a lot of fun! 

It wore Mia right out!
