Makin' Cakes

For awhile now Brandon has been interested in making cakes. I thought it was about time he put his artistic talents to use so we signed up for a cake making class. A week before the class Brandon decided to try making a cake using fondant on his own. It had its rough patches but turned out pretty good.

This was Brandon at the class. He was the star of the class and made everyone else look bad. We had a lot of fun.

The was the finished product at the class. It was amazing what he could do with just a little bit of guidance. Cake Boss who?

Alex Laughing

We have heard Alex giggle here and there but this was the first time he has ever really laughed. He was laughing at Boo and kept laughing for a long time. We frantically grabbed for the camera and still caught a lot of it on tape. It made our day!
