October

October is my favorite month for obvious reasons.  This October has been especially fun and it's only half way over!

Early in the month Alex's preschool went on a field trip to Gardner Village to hunt for witches. Brandon had the day off and got to come as well.  It was a lot of fun.

The next day we spent almost the whole day at Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point.  At first I was surprised by how much it cost but it ended up being totally worth it.  There was so much to do and everything was perfect for Alex's age.  He probably could have spent another four hours there and has been asking to go back ever since.  It was such a fun day.

We kept finding corn for days after this.  It was a lot of fun!

Mia had a blast as well.

Finally, last Saturday we had our annual Hettinger Halloween party.  We ate yummy food and played a lot of games.  The kids had fun testing out their costumes as well.

Boo is anxiously awaiting her guests.

Brandon made some amazing cupcakes.  I thought it was funny as we were preparing for the party he was making cupcakes and I was hauling chairs upstairs.

Alex had to cool down after wearing his hot costume for a while.  He got nice and sweaty.

We had a lot of fun and luckily there is still a lot to look forward to this month.

Lately

Another month has gone by and we have the photos to prove it.  We have been having lots of fun.

Alex displayed another one of his many talents.

Mia is such a happy baby.  She spoils us with lots of smiles.

I'm not sure what is happening here.

I had to laugh at all the pictures on my phone of Mia sleeping.  I just can't get enough and she sleeps a lot.  We are so lucky!

Mia seems to be following in her brother's footsteps.  She won't take a binky and seems to prefer sucking on her hand or thumb.

She loves to fall asleep on Daddy.

Boo also enjoys Mia's play mat.

Because Brandon was working Mia and I enjoyed our first Women's conference at home together.

Alex also enjoyed it!

Alex holding a grasshopper.  The poor thing had some missing legs so it couldn't jump away.  Alex was fascinated.

Mia loves her play mat and often falls asleep laying under it.

Mia is now three months old.  I can't believe how fast it has gone.  She is such a good baby and so much fun.

Having fun at Target.

Parallel play at its finest.

I am pleased to report that Mia now enjoys baths.  As long as she has a full belly she is perfectly happy in the water.

Love these two!
