Spring Sports

 Alex was able to play both soccer and baseball this Spring.  We are so glad things are mostly back to normal.  He had great seasons for both sports. He worked hard and improved and had a lot of success!

Brandon coached his soccer team again.  They started off a little rockier than they did last fall but they found their groove by the end of the season. Alex scored many goals and had a lot of fun! 

He also had a great baseball season.  They play a lot of games during the season so we felt like we were living at the ball park for a while but it was a lot of fun! Alex had a great season.  He got lots of hits.  He mostly played third base but also played second, first and even pitched a few innings.  He was on a great team and ended the season only losing a few games.  

They finished the season in second place! 

They even got to go to another tournament where they played teams from other cities.  They did really well in the tournament and ended up get third place.  It was a great year! 

Mia is always a good sport to coming to lots of games.  She loved finding friends from the nieghborhood and school that were also watching their brothers.  I think she liked getting treats from the snack bar the best.  

I think Alex is excited to have a few months off before he is at it once again! 

June

 In June we kicked off summer with a great start.  Alex had a few more weeks of baseball.  The weather was hot and we had a lot of fun. 

I love any time I can catch them playing or hanging out together.

Mia and Alex spent most of the month doing swimming lessons.  Alex is swimming with the Junior Marlins which is a pre-competition team.  He has to work pretty hard but he is liking it!

Summer means lots of sleep overs down stairs. Mia also loves sleeping in during the summer.  

Brandon and I got to go see Les Miserable at Hale Center Theater this month.  It was great! 

Brandon and Alex got to attend our wards fathers and kids campout this month.  Alex loved it! 

Alex was just a little bit dirty when he got home.  

We also got to celebrate Brandon on Father's Day this month.  We are so lucky to have him! 

Later this month Mia started T-ball.  She has been asking to play baseball for awhile but with dance it is hard to fit it in her schedule.  We were excited to find something that would fit in her schedule.  She has been loving it so far! 

At the end of the month we had a friend party for Mia's birthday.  She wanted to have a Spa party.  It was a lot of energy with lots of little girls for a few hours but we survived.  It actually turned out a lot of fun! 

We also went out for a special birthday dinner of Mia's choice.  She of course chose Huhot.  It was delicious as always.  

It was a great month!
