November

November was another strange month in this strange year.  Because of the spike in Covid cases there were additional mandates put in place and we were asked to socialize only with those in our household for two weeks.  The kids could still go to school and dance but took a break from seeing friends or family.  We didn't take very many pictures this month but here are a few.

Mia drew this amazing picture for me.  She loves to draw and color.  I love how she included her signature toe pop and that she called me Rachel in the picture and not mom.

The kids had crazy hair day at school.  Alex wanted his hair to be "flat" and Mia just wanted me to braid her hair the night before and take it out in the morning.  I thought her hair turned out more cute than crazy but that is what she wanted.

I can't remember why they were both crying at this point but it was pretty funny.

Mia asking for more science experiments.  I think she just likes to have an excuse to wear the safety goggles.

Mia is not a morning person! One morning I tried to wake her up in bed and she was out cold.  I took her out to the couch and she still didn't wake up for a minute.

Despite the craziness we had a great Thanksgiving.  We were able to rent out a movie theater for just our family.  We watched Christmas Vacation.  It was a lot of fun!

Then we had dinner at my mom's.  We actually did wear masks the whole time expect when were eating.

At the end of the month our Elf Buddy came!  He delivered a box of advent calendars and new Christmas pajamas.  The kids were so excited!

He is already up to no good!

We are all very excited for the Christmas season!
