March

March was a busy and fun month.  We love spending time with these crazy kids!

I'm not sure why I am getting this look.

Another movie photo op.

This month we went up to Logan on two different Saturdays to celebrate first Max and then Mikah's birthdays.  Even though it is a bit of a drive our kids love going there and playing with their cousins.

Also this month we took the kids once again to Disney on Ice.  The themes were Toy Story, Cars, Little Mermaid and Frozen so we couldn't pass it up.  Mia was absolutely enthralled the entire show.  I have many videos of her clapping and laughing with joy.  I was so glad we brought them.

Both Alex and Mia always pick these snow cones as their treat/prize.  They drive me crazy because they are so messy and take forever for them to eat.  Good thing they are cute.

After the show was over we got up to leave with the rest of the crowd.  For some reason Mia started throwing the biggest fit.  She wouldn't ever really explain why but my best guess was that she didn't want to leave and was over stimulated and tired.  She screamed, cried, foamed at the mouth and wrestled me all the way to the car.  It was very embarrassing.   In order to get her into the car seat both Brandon and I had to hold her down. She continued to scream on the way home until she screamed her self asleep.  For a minute she was even sleep screaming.  This is what she looked like after.  I then started to question why we came at all.

This month we also went out with a group of neighbors.  We ate at the Asian Star and did an Escape Room.  We escaped with a lot of help from the host but it was a lot of fun.

This month we decided to try taking the kids to an actual salon to get their haircut.  It is always such a fight with Alex so we thought a professional might be better.  It was! Both Mia and Alex held still and didn't complain.  They were both done in a few minutes and it proved to be worth every penny.

Mia even got a cute braid after but it didn't stay in too long.

We had fun celebrating St. Patrick's day this month.  Once again Alex wanted to set a trap to try and catch a leprechaun and get his gold. His trap was pretty awesome, including a row of thumb tacks. However, he must have just missed trapping the leprechaun.  Luckily the leprechaun left us some treats instead.

Brandon also made very delicious green, shamrock pancakes.

I have been long anticipating the live action Beauty and the Beast to come out this month.  I wasn't sure it would be for Mia so Brandon, Alex and I went and saw it one afternoon and left Mia at a babysitter.  After seeing it I thought I would try and take Mia to it.  I figured if she wasn't interested we could just leave early since I had already seen it.  To my surprise, she loved it and was very attentive throughout the whole movie (other than taking one bathroom break).  Everyone at the theater gushed at her in her Belle dress and she loved all the attention.  It was such a fun experience.

It wore her out!
