November was a great month. I didn't take very many photos but with the kids off track we got to do lots of different activities and have a lot of fun.
The kids got to celebrate Halloween for one more day on November 1st. The had their school parade and class parties. Brandon and I got to help out at Mia's party. It was so fun!
Mia just being Mia.
After three years I was released this month as our Ward's Primary President. It was a hard three years. Luckily I had a lot of help from really awesome counselors and especially from Brandon. I will really miss being in primary but I am glad to be done with the responsibility!
We put up our tree and started on the Christmas movies at the end of the month. We are usually pretty strict about waiting until after Thanksgiving but it is just too late in the month this year. We couldn't wait any longer!
We got to see Frozen 2 this month. Mia was excited to dress up for the occasion. She seemed a little bored in the movie. She had to go to the bathroom twice which is a sure sign she was bored but she said she liked it.
Being off track these two got to spend a lot of time together this month. I love how well they get along!
On one of our off track days we went to Altitude to jump around. The kids love this place!
Alex had his last Scout activity this month. He has loved scouts so much, I'm sad to see it end for his sake. He even earned his Bear early. We are so proud of him!
After the first big snow storm this month Mia was so excited to play in the snow and really wanted to build a snowman.
She was a little disappointed that we didn't have better snowman making supplies but I thought ours turned out pretty great. Not long after we finished though it started snowing again and our snowman was mostly buried.
I'm always really bad at taking pictures on Thanksgiving. This was the only picture I took. Mia randomly decided to make a list of all the things she is thankful for. I loved that she did this. We were glad Alex made the list.
On Thanksgiving weekend we had Mikah, Max and Kenzie stay at our house. They played in the snow, played lots of games, watched movies and ate lots of treats.
We also took a trip to the Nickelcade. I didn't get any pictures of the boys because they were running around too fast but it was a lot of fun. It only took us about an hour to for them all to spend their tickets and pick out their prizes.
Finally, on the last night of the month we heard a knock at the door and found a package. It turned out to be our elf, Buddy. He brought some Christmas pajamas and an advent calendar for each of the kids. They were so excited. It is a great way to kick of the Christmas season.
