We survived another January. We did lots of home projects this month, cleaned out all our closets and did a lot of cleaning! We also had some fun!
Poor Boo! My kids thought it was so funny to try on some of my glasses and even helped Boo get in on the fun!
Mia doing more experiments.
The most exciting thing that happened this month was that Mia broker her elbow. She fell off the monkey bars while at school. When I picked her up I could tell that something was really wrong. She had big bumps and said it hurt a lot. Brandon was able to come take her to the doctor and they found out it was indeed broken. Luckily it wasn't too bad but she did need a cast for three weeks.
Brandon also took her to get her cast on because I was teaching preschool. I made him document the whole thing.
She was very excited to have people sign her cast at first and then she got a little funny about it. But she still got a few awesome signatures.
Because of Mia's arm what was supposed to be a family ski day turned into a guys ski day. Brandon and Alex went up one day. The snow wasn't great yet but they had fun and Alex is getting better and better each time! Hopefully we will all get to go sometime this winter.
One of the many home projects we did this month was to clean up and organize our panty. This scary picture is the before...
We even added some peel and stick wallpaper just for fun.
And here is the after. Much better!
Jaryn turned 7 this month so we got to attend his epic Harry Potter birthday party. Our kids loved it!
We finally got to celebrate "Christmas" with Trevor's family. They had Covid over Christmas so we waited until this month to exchange presents with them. Our kids were thrilled to get a bonus present and to finally see their cousins.
