Dance

Mia had pictures for the new dance year last month.  They turned out so cute even though she is looking too grown up.  She has been loving her new team, Hybrid and is loving learning new dances.  It should be a fun year! 

 

September

September came and went in a flash.  We had a great month! 

Sadly we had to say goodbye to Indy at the beginning of this month.  Alex was especially sad.  We all miss him except for maybe Boo.  

We also helped Bayley move this month.  Her couch just barely made it down stairs.

We got to go to a REAL Soccer game this month.  Alex especially thought it was very cool.  Mia enjoyed the treats.  Alex even made it on the big screen but I wasn't fast enough to get his picture.

We had beautiful weather this month so we took advantage and made s'mores one night.  The kids decided to come prepared. 

More science experiments, this time it was a homework assignment.  

Alex drew his name in hieroglyphics for school.  I thought it was very cool! He has been loving 6th grade, especially learning about ancient Egypt. 

Part of Alex's Halloween costume came and he has been having a lot of fun with it.  Unfortunately I didn't post the picture of him in his helmet and only his underwear.  

Alex also finished up his short baseball season this month.  We were glad it was short this time.  Alex wasn't on the best team and they ended up not winning any games this season.  It was rough to watch.  Alex had a great season though.  He caught almost every inning they played and hit really well.  

He also played lots of soccer this month.  He really did well this soccer season and keeps improving.  He scored lots of goals and helped his team win most of their games.  He has also become better friends with lots of his teammates.  

Brandon is also a VIP coach! 

Mia also played soccer this season.  I think she was in it for the outfit.  She did great and worked hard! 

One of the highlights of the month was going to the State Fair.  We lucked out with the weather and the rain stayed a way.  The kids rode tons of rides.  Mia even tried some big ones.  It was a great day! 

Alex is the best big brother and went on this little ride with Mia.  

The highlight of the fair was seeing the sloth.  It was very cute! 

We also watched this stunt show that had me very nervous.  

It was a great month!
