October

 October is the best month!  This year we had beautiful weather almost the whole month.  We had lots of fun and enjoyed a low key fall break.  It was a great month. 

My preschool started out the month by taking our fall field trip to Wheeler Farm.  It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!

Mia spent days planning halloween outfits for her four days of dance.  I didn't take more pictures but she made a cute pirate! 

A few more random pictures from the month...  

Alex took his first spin behind the wheel.  He just went around the church parking lot but it was pretty cool.  

During Fall break Mia wanted to learn to sew.  I busted out my old sewing machine.  She sewed a few lines before getting bored but she thought it was pretty cool.  

At the beginning of the month Alex finished up his baseball and soccer seasons.  We like having our weeknights and Saturday mornings back but we will miss watching him play! 

Mia's strategy for watching Alex play soccer is not watching Alex play soccer.  

Mia also got her dance pictures taken this month. They turned out beautiful.  She is having another great year and it is so fun to see her progression each year.

One weekend this month Kenzie came to stay at our house.  We packed a lot in while she was here and had a lot of fun! 

We also enjoyed Conference weekend. It is the best!

Brandon and Alex got to go to the Imagine Dragons Concert this month.  Alex loved it! Brandon took him.

We got to see the Addams Family play at Hale Center Theater this month.  It was a lot of fun! 

Once again we held our annual family Halloween party.  It was lots of fun! 

We got a whopping 6 days of school off for Fall break this year.  It was amazing. Brandon was able to take a few of the days off as well.  One of the days we went to Cornbelly's.  We thought going on Monday would make it less busy but all of Utah had the same idea so it was very busy.  It was still lots of fun and beautiful weather.  We had a great day! 

We also took a stroll around Daybreak again to see all the awesome Halloween houses.  It gets bigger and better every year. 

We checked off another October bucket list item and picked up some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. 

I had a great birthday this year! Brandon spoiled me and I felt very loved!

The highlight of my birthday were these amazing Gravity Falls cookies Brandon ordered for me.  They are so cute and delicious too! 

Brandon and I were also able to sneak away to eat a delicious birthday dinner at Freshies. 

Brandon also made another amazing card! 

Because of Mia's late dance nights we had to do even later night pumpkin carving.  We got it done though and they turned out awesome. 

Brandon did Coraline's mother, I did Bluey, Mia did Shrek and Alex did the Sponge Bob and Foxy.  He took the Sponge Bob pumpkin to school and won second place in the pumpkin carving contest.  

Finally Halloween came! Mia was prepped and ready for school. 

I love Halloween at preschool.  It was so fun! 

Then I got to head to school and enjoy the Halloween festivities while at work there.  

Trick or Treating time! 

This was the first year the Brandon and I didn't have to do any trick or treating.  Both kids went with friends.  Alex went for awhile and then hung out at a friends house.  It was a fun night! 

We also finally got school pictures back.  I'm so sad at how grown up they look!
