January was a long and short month all at the same time. We are glad we made it through!
On New Years Day we celebrated by getting some delicious breakfast. It was a nice low-key day.
Before Christmas break was over Mia and I went to see Wicked one more time. We sort of dressed up. This was the closest to pink I had.
I had to document Brandon's awesome parking job at church. When we got to church there was snow covering the parking lot so you couldn't see the lines and we just lined up with everybody else. But when we got out the snow had melted and everyone else had left. I'm sure everyone that came after wondered how we parked so bad. Brandon did not think it was funny.
This month we got attend Mia's DARE graduation. It was very exciting!
Our kids have been asking to go ice skating for awhile so we finally made it happen this month. It was mostly fun and only a little bit filled with regret and whining.
Brandon and I got tickets to see Beauty and the Beast over a year ago and it was finally time to see it. Our kids had both declined the invite so we got to have a date night. It was a lot of fun and they did a great job with it.
Brandon also scored a Lucky Seat ticket to go see Book of Mormon while it was here. I wasn't interested in seeing that one and he has wanted to see it for a long time. So it was perfect that he got a cheap last minute ticket. He only had to pay 25.00 to sit on the front row. He said the seat was amazing and he loved the show.
At the end of the month we got to attend Mia's dance Showcase. It is always so exciting to finally see the dances she has been working on all year. She danced beautifully and they were so fun to watch! We are excited for another long and busy dance season. There will be a lot more pictures coming soon!
With his CrossFit group Alex got to attend a self defense class. He had a lot of fun!
Also this month we got to attend Sadie's farewell before she leaves for Paraguay next month. Her talk was amazing. We are going to miss her!
