T-Ball

Now that Alex is old enough we were excited for him to try T-Ball.  It was a fun season and Alex did well.  By the last game he (and his teammates) seemed to be getting a little bored with it but it was fun to see him play hard and have fun.  I took a lot of pictures throughout the season and had a good time looking at all his crazy faces as I went through them.  He is one funny kid.

His intimidation face...

He definitely keeps us laughing.

One Fun Day!

Last Saturday Brandon and I got to spend a fun filled day with Alex.  You would think it was his birthday but it was just a regular Saturday.

It also happened to be the day before May 4th or "Star Wars Day."  We started off the day with Star Wars pancakes.

At Bayley's library they were having a special Star Wars day.  Alex got to train to be a Jedi, listen to Star Wars stories and even get his picture taken with a few Star Wars characters.  He was not so thrilled about that last part.

Finally we headed over to the South Towne Expo Center where they were having a Lego convention.  Alex is obsessed with all things Lego so he was pretty much in heaven.  (So was Brandon).

Alex declared that the Back to the Future Lego's were his favorites.

He could have stayed in here all day.

We are soaking up the last few months where Alex is an only child.  We are so lucky to have him!

Easter

We had another fabulous Easter this year and packed a lot of celebrating into one weekend.  We started off the festivities on Saturday at Grandma Hettinger's house.  We had an Easter egg hunt, decorated eggs, and had a lot of fun!

On Easter morning Alex was excited to see that the Easter Bunny had stopped at our house.  He had a few eggs and his basket to find.

Checking out Peeps for the first time.  He loved them.

All dressed up and ready for church.

After church we headed to Grandma Clements' house.  We had another egg hunt and got more Easter surprises.

All the festivities really wore Alex out.  He didn't last long on the car ride home.

And some more random pictures from the last month...

I decided it was time to clean out our candy stash.  Between Halloween, Christmas, Valentines and Easter it has gotten a little out of control.  Alex just thought it was awesome.
