Mia's Birthday

At the beginning the month our little Mia bug turned three years old.  I can hardly believe it!  We celebrated all weekend long.

We kicked off the celebrations with a family party at our house.  Mia loved being the center of attention which was better than last year where she cried for the first half hour.

Her theme for the party was Peppa Pig, her favorite tv show.  Brandon made another amazing cake!

Eagerly awaiting her presents.

Mia's actual birthday fell on Sunday.  While at church her nursery class went for a walk outside and Mia got stung by a bee on the cheek.  She was not very happy about it but did like wearing a princess band-aid all day.

The next day we took her and Alex to Discovery Gateway to celebrate a little more.  They had tons of fun and could have stayed all day.

It was a great weekend celebrating Mia.  We sure love her!

June

June was a hot, fun month for us.  Alex still had to go to school during the day but we had a lot of fun at night.

We got to try out a new (to us) splash pad with Lisa and Claire.  Mia and Alex both loved it!

Fun at Grandma and Grandpas!

Alex finally lost his other front tooth this month but not before it hung loose for a few days.  It was pretty goofy looking but he would not let us pull it out.

Bayley and I went on a hike this month.  This picture was the best I got.  It was fun though!

Kenzie got to spend a day at our house.  We had a lot of fun playing with her.  We just wish she lived closer!

We got to go watch Alex perform in his school's French program this month.  This was the best picture I could get of him.  He took a turn saying his favorite color in French.  I am impressed with all that he has learned in his first year.  It has been great for him.

We also celebrated our favorite Dad this month.  He does so much for our family and is such a hard worker.  We love him so much!

Alex got to go to an RSL soccer game with Grandma, Mikah and Max.  What a nice Grandma to take these crazy boys.  They had a lot of fun!

Mia being 2.

Alex went to play at his friend Shad's house this month and they got to swim and eat some pasta.  His mom sent me this hilarious picture while he was there.

Mia got sick this month and at one point fell asleep on the couch.  This never happens so I had to document it.

Brandon was very excited to check out the Rick and Morty bus when it made it's stop in Salt Lake.  We drove all the way to Sugar House only to find a very long line that wrapped around a city block.  Brandon decided not to wait in line.

Alex also took Tennis lessons throughout June.  He had a lot of fun again.
