Here's more from our adventures from December. As always the Clements family gathered for our annual family picture with Santa. Things were going well until we sat Mia on Santa's lap.
She was definitely not a fan and Alex seems pretty worried as well. This picture gave us a lot of laughs!
One night in December we made Grinch popcorn and watched the Grinch cartoon. The popcorn was ok but the show was great!
Once again for Brandon's work Christmas party we got to go bowling. Alex loves bowling and was so excited.
Alex had some pretty awesome form.
Don't tell Alex he didn't win. He definitely beat Brandon though!
Like everyone else in the world we spent a few nights in December re-watching the original Star Wars trilogy to prepare for the new movie coming out. It was fun to re-watch them all with Alex.
Lots of snowy days this month meant that Alex got to play in the snow a lot. Mia didn't go out and play but she liked watching him from the door.
I never tire of watching her sleep.
Alex made this awesome snow stump all by himself and then insisted I take a picture of him by it. We are so proud!
Mia gets the best bed head.
Brandon's awesome aunt always sends us a decoration for Christmas from Pottery Barn (where she works). This year it was these tall mice. Mia was terrified of them. Luckily she warmed up to them pretty quickly.
A couple of times this month we got to babysit our cute neighbor's twin girls. Mia loved pointing out that they are babies and loved sharing her toys with them. They are so cute!
I've always wanted to get my kids Christmas jammies but never have before. I decided I better do it soon because Alex probably won't put up with it for much longer. So of course I had to document them in them. I miss taking monthly pictures of Mia so it was fun to take a few of them together.
Watching Frozen with her purse.
Putting a diaper on her bunny.
Finally, finally the night came that Brandon has been eagerly anticipating for years. He was far more excited for this night than Christmas. Luckily it didn't disappoint and it was so fun to go with him.
The next day Brandon took Alex and went with some of his family to see it again. Alex loved it too!
Alex and Mia loved their presents.
After a basketball game and pictures we headed next to the Everitts to watch the Utah/BYU bowl game. It was a painful game to watch but a win is a win.
Brandon and I teach nursery at church. The Sunday before Christmas we did some extra fun activities. We are going to miss this group of cuties!
We also made some gingerbread men this month. They were delicious!
Beautifully decorated by Alex!
We also attended our schools Christmas Sing along. We didn't even know this was a thing so we weren't quite sure what it expect but it was fun to see Alex and Sadie sing.
Short kid problems.
Finally right before Christmas we got to spend a night at Maryann's catching up with the Clark family. We wish we got to see them more but it was so fun to catch up!
We finally had enough snow to make a snowman. Unfortunately Brandon wasn't home to help make it truly awesome.
We love these crazies!
