January

January is definitely not my favorite month of the year so I am ok that it flew by this year.  We got a lot done and even had a little fun.

I can't remember why Mia is crying in these pictures but I just thought her sad tears were so cute.

One night Alex had birthday party in Draper.  We decided to use the opportunity to run some errands in that area while he was there which included Ikea.  Mia was in heaven checking out all the stuffed animals.  Luckily we were able to sneak away without actually buying any.

Mia and Claire got to play again this month.  They are growing up so fast.  Most of the time they ignore each other but they did hug a few times.

One day this month Alex decided to play Ghostbusters.  He made this marshmallow man all by himself to fight.

Ready to bust some ghosts!

We also had another round of sickness in our house this month.  Luckily it was much less intense than last time but we each had a turn with it.

Boo and Brandon hilarious sleeping.

This month Jaryn turned two and we got to go to his birthday party.  The Clements cake traditions continue.  Nikole made this amazing cake for his minions party.

Mia enjoyed checking out Jaryn's presents.

Mikah and Max got to come spend a night at our house this month.  We had fun playing games, eating treats, and watching a movie.  Right after we put them to bed our power went out and didn't come back on for 16 hours.

Mikah fell sound asleep on the floor.  Brandon had to carry him to bed.

We figured it was cold in the house so we might as well go outside and play in the snow.  It was Mia's first time playing in the snow.  She had to borrow some of Alex's old boots and had a hard time walking but she seemed to have fun.

Snowball fight!

Mia's turn to be sick.

This month I was lucky enough to be chosen for Jury Duty.  It was actually a very interesting experience.  It was a criminal case at the Federal Courthouse that lasted 8 days.  It was definitely interesting to see how the whole process works and a little scary to help decide the fate of someone else.  I learned a lot and was glad I got to do it but missed being home with my kids.

Mia will usually blow me kisses after I put her down for her nap.  She yells bye bye and waves.

Love this cute girl!
