November

November was such a great month that flew by.

We started off the month enjoying some more time cuddling baby Zayne.  Alex could hold him all day.

I got to get a pedicure with some friends from my neighborhood.

In the middle of the month Brandon and I finally took our trip to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary.  We decided to spend the week at one of our favorite places on earth, Disneyland. We had a good laugh when this was the car that picked us up at the airport.  It was my first time in a limo.  Pretty fancy!

Brandon could not take a normal ride picture.  He had some pretty great ones during our trip.

We went in mid-November when they had just changed everything over to Christmas.  It was the best time to go.  Everything was decked out so cute but it wasn't very busy.  It was so fun!

Brandon even went on the Tea Cups for me.

The castle was so cool all decorated for Christmas. The first few days we were there they were filming some Christmas specials and having singers perform.

We ate some really great food on this trip including at least three cinnamon rolls. They are the best!

I was so excited to sit in the drivers seat on Indiana Jones that I jinxed it and the ride broke down.  We sat there for about 45 minutes and it never got started again.  We did get some complimentary fast passes though.

Corn Dogs are always on the must eat list.

Seeing the Christmas version of the World of Color was one of my favorite things.  It was so fun with Christmas music and cartoons.

We got to go on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride for the first time.  We rode it four times throughout our trip.  It was so fun and easily one of our favorite rides.

I was so excited to try these very cute cookies.  They were pretty disgusting though!

Since we were sans kids we got to try out some of the fancier restaurants on this trip.  This was at Carthay Circle.  It wasn't our favorite but fun to try.

It's a Small World was very cool at Christmas time.

Brandon may have crushed me on Toy Story Mania but I did have a higher accuracy percentage.

One morning we decided to hit both the Grizzly River Run and Splash mountain in a row so that we could go back and change at the hotel after.  Brandon is always a gentlemen and will sit in front of me on Splash mountain and as a result got completely drenched.  Good thing our hotel was close!

Talented workers at Disneyland.  He was drawing these with water.

One of our favorite meals was at Cafe Orleans.  We got this awesome chocolate cake creation as part of our Fantasmic meal.  It was as tasty as it looked!

We also got front row seats to Fantasmic.  It was so cool and we can't wait for our kids to see it.

As our last ride we decided to hit up splash mountain one more time as the park was closing.  We were the only people in our log.  We took the opportunity to make some especially awesome faces on our way down.  As a bonus we didn't even get wet because we were so light!

The last day of our trip we decided to go to Hollywood and see some of the sights there.  We first did a tour at the Warner Brothers Studio.  It was a lot of fun!

They had a large room with all the different Batmobiles from all the movies.  This one is Brandon's favorite.

They also had these really cool giant rooms filled with shelves and shelves of props that are used in movies.  You could look around and see tons of things from all kinds of different tv shows and movies.

Pheobe's football phone.

We also got to walk through the Big Bang Theory set but we weren't allowed to take pictures in there.  It was fun to see.  It seems so much smaller in real life.

Our awesome tour guide asked us what shows we liked and then pointed out things to do with those shows so he pointed out lots of Gilmore Girls things for me.  This is was Miss Patty's Dance studio.

This was Luke's Diner.

We also loved checking out the Harry Potter exhibits.

We of course had to get sorted with the sorting hat.  It really talked to you and it must be completely accurate because Brandon got Slytherin and I got Gryffindor.

Holding a real Oscar!

This is where the Oscars are held.

We had SO much fun on our trip but we were so excited to get home to these goofballs.  They did great while we were gone though and loved hanging out with both of their Grandmas and Grandpas.

Thanksgiving Day. This was Brandon's first year not having to work any holidays.  It was awesome! It was great because he is usually not around for all of Thanksgiving day.  This year we made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and enjoyed watching parade together.

I didn't take many pictures of the day but we had a great day spending some time with both families.

These two are really best buds!

Alex, Brandon and I completed this puzzle we brought back from Disneyland.  Alex was especially into it.

It was fun during the month of November because Alex was out of school so he got to be my helper at Preschool.  The kids loved having him there and he was a really big help to me.  We were sad when he had to go back to school.

More proof that they love each other.  I might need it one day!

To cap off an awesome month Brandon and I got to go see Billy Joel in concert.  I grew up loving his music and it was such a fun concert.  We loved it!

To end the month we kicked off our holiday traditions by going to one of my favorites, the Festival of Trees.  It was so much fun as usual!

At night we got a surprise package.  Buddy our Elf came back and even brought along some pajamas and advent calendars.  It was a great kick off to the Christmas season.

 What a great month!
