March

March was another busy, fun month. Here are the highlights.

Mia got to go to her first (non family member) birthday party.  It was for her cute friend Ari. It took her a few minutes to warm up enough to let me leave but eventually she loosened up and had a ton of fun.

Since he played Jr. Jazz we got to go with Alex to another Jazz game.  This time we decided to leave Mia with a babysitter since she got pretty bored last time.  It was a lot of fun.

We took a couple of road trips up to Logan this month for Mikah and Max's birthday parties.

We had lots of fun at preschool this month.  We celebrated Dr. Seuss Birthday with pretend green eggs and we got to go on a field trip to the Fire Station.

Mindi also took our class pictures this month.  They turned out so cute.

We also celebrated St. Patrick's Day.  Once again Alex made a trap to try and catch the Leprechaun.  He must of missed him but at least he left us a few treats! Brandon also made shamrock shaped, green pancakes that the kids thought were pretty cool.

Alex had a piano recital this month.  We didn't know it was this month until a few weeks before but he still memorized his piece and played it perfectly!  He got to play the theme from Harry Potter this year.  I am so impressed at how well he is doing at the piano.

Mia and Alex also took another round of swimming lessons this month.  We went after school for a few weeks and they both did great and passed their levels.

My side of the family got to visit the Jordan River Temple Open house.  Alex and Mia went on and on about how fun it was.  I love the temple and it is always great to be there with my whole family!

The week before Easter we, as a primary presidency got to put on an Easter egg hunt for our ward and neighborhood.  We filled and hid over 1200 eggs.  It was threatening to rain all week so even though it was cold I was just so glad it didn't rain.  It was fun but I'm glad it is over for another year!

We shot the candy cannon again.  It is always fun to see the mad dash for candy.

Later that day we went to Grandma and Grandpa Hettinger's house for another egg hunt and to decorate Easter eggs.  It was lots of fun as always!

One of Brandon's masterpieces.

The next Saturday we got to have one final Easter egg hunt at the Clements' house.

What a fun month!
