August

August was another fun month.  Alex had most of the month off school so we had lots of time to have fun.

Boo never lets the fact that I am making the bed bother her.

Alex and Brandon got to go to another Real game.  They had a lot of fun.

I caught these two holding hands.  Most of the time they really get along well!

We squeezed in one more day of fun with cousins before everyone else had to go back to school in August.  We ate lunch down town and went to the Planetarium.

As with tradition we spent a few days in Park City this month.  The weather was beautiful and we had a great time as usual.

We spent a day at the Park City Resort riding the Alpine slides and doing all the other things they have there.

Alex just wanted to swim all day every day.  We spent hours at the pool and he never got bored.

We had to rush back from Park City because Alex didn't want to miss Cub Scouts.  He received his Bobcat and was pretty excited.  He loves scouts so much!

After the ceremony they had a fun bike rodeo.

We also attended our Ward's campout this month.  Alex is always begging us to go camping so we thought this was an easy way to grant his wish.  We knew it was supposed to rain a little but it ended up down pouring from about 8:30 to midnight.  Luckily we stayed dry and our kids slept great.

We had time for one more fun day before Alex and Mia had to go back to school.  The kids voted on going to the Museum of Natural Curiosity.  We stayed most of the day and could have stayed a lot longer.  They love it there!

This month I had to have some skin cancer removed from my nose.  It was a very quick procedure but they did have to do more stitches than I thought.  It is still healing but getting better every day.

At the end of the month we celebrated Brandon's birthday.  It was a fun day.  We ate at HuHot as a family and then Brandon and I got to see a couple of movies.
