September

September went so fast! It was another busy, fun month.  While we went out for Brandon's birthday the kids stayed at Stephanie's house.  They turned one of her spare rooms into a packing peanuts swimming pool.  It was crazy and they loved it!

We celebrated Brandon's birthday one more time with my family.

He wanted cookies for his dessert so we had to get creative with the candles.

Alex loves Porgs.

Brandon introduced the kids to Mr. Bean videos.  They spent an afternoon enthralled by them.

 Mia just being Mia.

Lately Mia has gotten into playing school.  I thought she had a pretty cute set up.

On one of our last off track days we spent the morning at Altitude.  The kids had so much fun and Mia asks almost every day when we are going back.

We also took our annual trip to the fair.  We picked a day with beautiful weather.  The kids spent most of the day riding rides.  Mia wasn't thrilled about going on this mouse roller coaster.  We convinced her to go on it but she was not happy about it.

Alex loved going on all the big kid rides.

And he was nice enough to go on all the small rides with Mia too.

I'm not sure what Mia is doing here.

Alex loves going on the "Gravitron". He went on it three times in a row.  He looks a little green in this picture but he loves it!

Mia wasn't a big fan of the big slide either.

We told the kids they could each play one carnival game.  Mia really wanted to win a blow up princess so she had to play this game to win it.  Luckily the worker helped her out a bit so she could win.

Later in the evening we caught up with Sarah, Jen and Bayley and saw all the animals.

Alex loves the bees. We finally had to drag him away.

One night this month Mia had to get her dance pictures.  Since this is our first year doing a "team" we didn't know quite what to expect.  Our pictures were up at the State Capitol on a super windy day.  I thought they were going to turn out terrible but they turned out super cute.  The photographer did a great job.

The only down side was we had to wait a while for her individual shots and I wouldn't let her run around a lot.

Once we were done I finally let her run around and she was so excited.

Such a cute group!

The photographer asked Mia what pose she wanted and she just hit this pose.  I was very impressed.

She looks so grown up!

At the end of the month the kids had crazy hair day at school.  They were both being a little timid and didn't want to go too crazy.  It is hard to see but Alex went half green and half red.  Mia had "cupcake" hair that we sprayed red. It was also wear crazy colors day but that was pushing it for Alex.
