November was a great month. It was a little slower than the last few months which was great!
The kids got their school pictures back for the year. They are so grown up!
Mia 3rd grade...
Alex 7th grade....
We also finally got Mia's dance pictures back she took in September. She is on Mini Company this year and is having a lot of fun. It has been so fun to see her progress and I can't wait to see her dance in the Spring!
Halloween on a Monday should be outlawed. The next day and the rest of the week was rough!
I tried to capture how beautiful our maple trees were this year. This picture doesn't really show it but the leaves went bright yellow this year. It was so pretty!
Both Mia and Brandon made me birthday cards this year. They were amazing!
Mia is always working on some elaborate art project!
Brandon wanted to get the Christmas lights done early this year but the day he picked was still very cold and rainy. He got them done any way. We still didn't turn them on until after Thanksgiving. We aren't monsters.
Thanksgiving day was a lot of fun! We started off the day by eating cinnamon rolls and watching the parade. Next we made some rolls. They aren't quite perfect yet but I am getting better. We also went to the movies to see Strange World. We all thought it was okay.
Finally we had the big feast at Grandma's house. I ate way too much and it was all delicious!
The dog's wanted their share.
Brandon spent a lot of time working on the perfect Banana cream pies. They turned out so good!
The weekend after Thanksgiving we decorated the house for Christmas. It is a big mess and a lot of work but lots of fun!
Later that night we had a visitor at the back door. Buddy is getting trickier! He came and brought some fun gifts too.
The kids each got an advent calendar, some pajamas and we got a Lego set to share.
Last spring Alex bought a season pass to Brighton for this year so he can get lots of snowboarding in with his friend Aiden. They went for the first time this week. They had a lot of fun but were so tired after. He needs to get back into shape!
The very last day of the month we took Mia to see The Little Mermaid at Hale Center Theater. Alex declined to go. We had a lot of fun with Mia and loved the show!
