September

 September was another fun month that went by very quickly! 

Mia had a friend over and they wanted to make slime.  Soon more friends came over and things escalated quickly.  We were cleaning up for quite awhile. 

We got to go to a REAL game this month.  It was a lot of fun and they even won! 

Mia had some fun with my phone. 

In true Mia fashion Mia wanted to paint and wear some fake nails.  It was a lot of work to get them glued on and then she only wore them for a few hours before they drove her crazy.  

More slime fun this month! Alex and Mia wanted to spend some of their allowance money on this super fancy slime.  They loved it. 

Alex picked out his Halloween costume and has been having a lot of fun in it.  

This is the only picture I took but we spent a night at Mia's school fundraiser carnival.  It was so fun and they raised a ton of money! 

More shenanigans! 

Mia was very excited when Boo started cuddling with Pengui.  

Alex has started playing Hymns in piano and it makes me so happy! 

We spent a Saturday doing one of my favorite fall traditions and spent the day at the State Fair.  It was a mostly great day.  However as we were walking in Brandon got a call about a work emergency that he ending up having to be on the phone to deal with most of the day.  Also, because he was so distracted he some how lost his wedding ring at some point.  We retraced our steps and checked the lost and found a few times but never found it.  We have it insured and it wasn't worth that much money but it makes us very sad to lose it. 

Other than that it was a great day.  The kids rode lots of rides and the weather was beautiful.

At the beginning of the day Mia stuck mostly to the small rides but soon she warmed up and went on a lot of the big rides as well.  It was fun to see her branch out! 

I will be real sad when these two don't want to participate in the little farm activities.  I'm glad they still want to. 

Mia had a dream of playing carnival games and winning a prize.  She finally realized this dream.  It just cost us way too much money to make it come true.  

After several spinning rides Alex was starting to feel it. 

Mia's ride faces are great.  And Alex just laughed at her. 

This month Alex was invited to join the Junior National Honor Society.  We are so proud of him! 

At the end of the month Alex and Brandon headed off to go hunting.  Alex was excited to hunt again with Max and Brandon was kind enough to go with them.  

The moon was huge! 

Mia and I got to have a girls weekend while the boys were away.  We packed a lot in to the few days they were gone.  We went shopping, made sugar cookies and even caught some grasshoppers for a school project.  It was really fun to get to spend some one on one time with her.  

The last day of the month Mia had a one day dance convention down in Provo.  We had to be in Provo by 7:00 am.  We were done by 2:00 so it wasn't too bad.  Mia had a ton of fun as usual and did a great job.  It is so fun to see her get better each year.
