April

 April was another fun, busy month.  At the beginning of the month we finished up our trip to Disneyland.  It was such a great trip.  We can't wait to go back! 

Sadly it was time to head home.  Once again we slept while Brandon drove.  

We were excited to return home to Boo.  Upon our returning home she seemed to be not feeling great.  We knew our time with her was running out.  

She seemed to be having more trouble seeing and was very disoriented.  

We made the very hard decision to put her down.  On our last day we all took lots of extra snuggles.  Our kids have never known life without our Boo.  She has been the best dog and we will be forever grateful for her love! 

Our kids wanted to go with us to the vet to put her down.  It was a very hard experience but it was nice to all be there together.  We didn't really take pictures during the process because we were all a mess but I did take one picture of this creepy cat picture at the vets office to remember the occasion.  

We went to see the Minecraft movie this month.  Mia and I took a good nap.  

We also got to watch General Conference this month.  It was a nice way to end our spring break.  

Brandon went to Las Vegas for work this month.   

Mia got to go to her cute dance friend, Charlie's birthday party. 

Alex found some good kite flying weather.  Brandon warned him that it might not be a good idea to fly the kite so close to trees and things ended as you would expect they would.  

Mia had a few more dance competitions this month.  First up was another solo competition, Amplify.  She took first place in her category again! 

The next weekend it was the Elite Dance Championship.  Once again she took first in her category! It's always fun when she does them with friends.  

Easter weekend was a lot of fun. In between all the dance we were able to fit in an egg hunt at Grandma's house.  

We also decorated eggs.  We each made a Boo egg in her honor.  

On Easter morning we had our own egg hunt.

After church we got to check out what we got.  

Finally we headed to Grandma Clements house for one more egg hunt! 

Alex had a couple more track meets this month.  He did such a great job and got better every meet. We are proud of him for trying something new! 

Another dance competition/convention weekend.  We had two early call times down in Provo for this one so we decided to get a last minute room and it was so fun! Mia was loving the breakfast at the hotel. 

A photographer took a bunch of pictures of Mia during their classes.  It was so fun to get a look at these classes she spend so much time in.

Mia was also very excited to receive a scholarship!

Also for the first time Mia entered an improve competition.  She was so brave to get up on the stage in front of so many people and just wing it.  She did awesome! 

We ended the month up in Logan celebrating Kenzie's birthday.  It was a great month!
