October

 October was such a fun month.  We packed it full with lots of fun activities!

Mia got to go to the Taylor Swift movie with her cousins.  She loved it! 

Alex got asked to his first school dance.  He is going to go to Sadie's with Livi from our ward. He is excited! 

We had a good answering her back! 

Ripley was not a huge fan of our new Halloween decoration. 

Mia gave her last talk in Primary this month. She did a great job.  I'm so sad she is growing up but so happy to! 

Alex played his last few football games this month.  We will miss watching him play! 

We were so excited when Mia made Thriller in August. It was especially fun because Elsie made it too so they got to perform together.  The performance was in Park City.

They had to hang out for awhile before we could head into the theater. 

Mia was in the Chucky dance.  It was such a fun group of girls! 

So many family members came to support her.  It was such a fun night! 

For a few days this month we got to dog sit Gus and Indy.  Despite what this picture shows there was a lot energy going on. 

The puppies love Alex! 

We got to take a week off of school this month so we took our annual trip to Cornbelly's.  I love that my kids still want to go every year and spend time together.  We always have to hit all the highlights!

We also held our annual Hettinger Family Halloween party again.  We tried to get Ripley in a costume but it was really too small.  We will do better next year! 

Alex joined the group costume and was Patrick Mahomes. 

Mia wanted to be an angel this year and found all her costume pieces herself. 

We played a Halloween version of scategories, ate pizza and had a great time.

One day for dance Mia was a baseball player. 

At the end of the month we celebrated my birthday.  I got very spoiled.  

Brandon got me some fancy cookies again but this time they were Parks and Rec themed.  They were amazing as always! 

It was a great day! 

The next day we did our annual pumpkin carving. 

This year Brandon did Large Marge, I did Sam the Eagle, Alex did Walter White and Mia did Ghost Face.  

For school Alex went as a ref.

Our last Halloween parade at Elementary school. 

It is so fun to teach Kindergarten on Halloween.  It was so fun! 

Finally time to trick or treat! 

Costume #3, Alex went as Spiderman sort of. 

Mia painted this pumpkin.  It was so cute!

Mia went with her friends Penny and Joyce.  She had so much fun!

Brandon and I got to stay home and give out candy.  We had at least 150 trick or treaters.  It was a great night!
