In April we finally went on our long awaited trip to Disney World. We spent 11 days in Florida spending time at Disney World, Universal Studios and even Legoland. We went with my whole side of the family so there was 19 of us in all. It was a crazy time and a trip we won't soon forget!
I was very nervous but Mia did really well on the plane ride to Florida. She watched movies, colored and ate lots of treats.
She did even better on the ride to the hotel. She was just tired enough to be good but not enough to fall asleep.
The first night we headed to Disney Springs to eat dinner and look around.
Day Two - Magic Kingdom
We spent our first real day at the Magic Kingdom. It was still a little busy from the Spring Break crowds but not too bad. We got in almost every ride that first day.
You can always tell what time of day it is by Mia's appearance. At the beginning of the day her hair is done, with a bow still in and she is still fairly clean. The end of the day is a different story!
Mia also did pretty well waiting in so many lines throughout the trip. This definitely wasn't a trip designed for a one and a half year old so we were happy she did so well. Unfortunately she wanted me to hold her most of the time.
Mia made this face the whole time on the ride.
Mia discovered her love of all things Little Mermaid on this trip. She started calling most rides "Ariel Ride."
Meeting Belle. I had to practically force Alex up there. He wanted nothing to do with this.
Although you can't see him Alex is on this ride. He is sitting between Bayley and Jaden.
I'm not sure who took this picture but we are making some epic faces.
And what she looks like at the end of the day. Tired and messy. It was a great day!
Luckily Mia slept great on the trip even if it was in weird positions.
Day Three - Hollywood Studios
Alex and Wilson were joined at the hip on this trip. They were constantly holding hands, hugging and even kissing. I have many hilarious pictures of them that I'm sure we can use as blackmail later.
Most days Mia fell asleep at some point in her stroller. I love those cheeks!
While at Hollywood Studios Alex got to participate in the Jedi Academy. He loved it. They even mentioned his shirt during the show.
On this trip Alex discovered his love for America's Funniest Home Videos. It was playing while we ate dinner and Alex thought it was hilarious. It had him cracking up.
Like her brother, Mia makes some great expressions.
Watching the Frozen Sing Along. Alex claimed to not enjoy it although he secretly did.
Checking out the fireworks at the end of the night. Alex loved them, Mia did not.
